You can align objects to a grid or to each other.

When grid aligning is on, an object snaps to the nearest position spot on the grid whenever you move or resize it.

To start aligning objects to a grid:

Aligning Objects to Each Other

To align objects in rows or columns:

  1. Click the object whose position you want the others to match.
  2. Shift-click the rest.
  3. Choose Format > Align > Make Row or Format > Align > Make Column.
